Jason Derulo: Breakup-Inspired Songs Are '100 Percent' on the Way Split with Jordin Sparks is subject of material for his upcoming album, singer reveals.

It seems as though Jason Derulo is taking his breakup tour from the media to the studio. The "Wiggle" singer told Billboard that his next album will explain exactly what led to the demise of his relationship with singer Jordin Sparks.

When the music publication asked Derulo whether he would write songs about his relationship with Sparks, he simply said, "Oh, 100 percent."

"I'm somebody who cannot keep those two things separate," he added. "Like, I have to put it on paper, put it on wax, put it in my songs. I cannot separate the two. My creativity, my personality won't allow me to separate the two. If that's what's going on in my life, that's in the songs I make as well."

While the "Talk Dirty" crooner is gearing up to go all Taylor Swift on us, his ex has been channeling their recent breakup for musical inspiration as well. The "Battlefield" songstress has been tweeting about returning to the studio and being happier than ever.

The couple broke up in September after dating for two years.
